The goal of SACAF is to promote collaboration and understanding between the United States and China. Since the diplomatic relations between the United States and China have been developed steadily, educational exchange is an ever more important part of Sino-American relations. SACAF provides a long-term commitment to promote these U.S.-China educational exchanges, for we believe with an enhanced mutual understanding of culture both sides will benefit. Education can only serve to upgrade understanding between the two cultures, by illuminating the unwritten rules, customs and habits unique to every culture.

To achieve this goal, SACAF is actively planning and organizing academic seminars, forums, research opportunities and other educational activities to provide Chinese students opportunities for advanced educational channels.
