The goal of SACAF is to promote collaboration and understanding between the United States and China. Since the friendly relations between the two have been steadily developed , educational exchange is an ever more important part of Sino-American relations. SACAF provides a long-term commitment to promote these U.S.-China educational exchanges, for we believe that an enhanced mutual understanding of culture both sides will be beneficial. Education can serve to strengthen the understanding between the two cultures, by illuminating the unwritten rules, customs and habits unique to every culture.

To achieve this goal, SACAF is actively planning and organizing academic seminars, forums, research opportunities and other educational activities to provide Chinese students opportunities for advanced educational channels.
